In a small room now, the proselyte is with Sleeping Willard, and Willard says unto him, “Uh-uh. Wait, where are you?”
The naive proselyte says, “I’m right here, in this very room. Whatever do you mean?”
No answer from Willard. The proselyte sits fixated on Willard’s breathing.
“Yeah, I gave her father… Um-hm.”
“What? Whose father? Samantha’s?” the proselyte questions.
Again, no answer.
Roylard is watching this whole session. He knows that the young proselyte is jumping the gun and not engaged in full Willard Consciousness.
He needs to understand that it’s not what he says, it’s how he says it.
Then out of nowhere, Willard strikes a chord w/ this guy, and says unto him, “Would have a chair. Uh-uh that’s what his brain. I remember left-side chair.”
The proselyte recalls a similar experience and exclaims, “That happened to me just yesterday. I fell and hit my head on a chair!” Then he thought about it, “But, I don’t understand what I’m to do.”
Roylard speaks up, “Nothing, just live the moment, and later on you will understand.”
And the Sleeping Willard falls silent.
I like how you mentioned game gear. Amazing!
Me too. It makes me feel compassion towards adolescent Matthew James.
